Is Anyone Else Anticipating a Release of Returner on Blu-ray?

For anyone who has not seen the film, Returner is a Japanese sci-fi movie (that has some English dialog) with gun action. It is somewhat low budget but the action scenes are awesome! I love the movie and really wish for it to be released on Blu-ray. Is there anyone else who feels the same?

I'd buy it, even though it directly stole scenes from The Terminator, M:I-2,(VERY OBVIOUS THIS ONE), and a lot of others. The DVD annoyed me, all the dialogue was subbed, even the English,(for all there was). Very cool villain as well.

Never heard about this one. I guess it's worth to be checked out on DVD, gonna go add to my queue

I guess this film is really obscured from the general public's view. That probably means that there will be no foreseeable Blu-ray version of this movie. Sad. :\

Yeah, the scene on the motorcycle was exactly like M:I 2, but I enjoyed Returner far more than the second Mission:Impossible.

I haven't seen the movie in a long time because it was originally rented, but are you saying that there was no English audio track besides the Japanese?
I can't quite recall to what degree, but the girl's English wasn't properly spoken, so maybe that's why they forced the subtitles for the English dialog.

I have the Hong Kong DVD and special Japanese DVD boxset (¥5800 ) and will buy the Blu-ray. Takeshi K is very popular in the Far East so maybe there'll be a Japanese Blu-ray release in the future when the market is more ready for catalogue titles.
