Default What will happen to the PS3 if HD media failed?
I'm not saying Blu-Ray or Hd discs will fail, so please don't get angry or defensive with me.

I was just thinking, in light of the whole Paramount move, what if the format war eventually destroyed HD media? What would happen to the PS3? Will it still use Blu-Ray for games? And if so, will it still include a Blu-Ray player for those who have already bought into Blu-Ray even though it didn't exist anymore? OR will they manufacture them without Blu-Ray? What are your thoughts on this? It would be nice if I knew that if my PS3 eventually broke for some reason, I'd be able to buy a new one and still watch the Blu-rays I bought even though you can't buy discs anymore.
