Default What do you want to see on Amazon's "High Def" week?

As I am sure many saw, Amazon is doing their "High Def" week again this year.

It's right around the corner - I know I have been saving my Blu-ray bucks for it.

I voted for the Star Trek film set on the Amazon site, and in the additional comments section I said I hope BOTH sets are available at a good price. I also wanted the Batman Anthology, but since I got that for a steal ($28) from Amazon.uk it's really the Trek sets I want at a good price.

What are you hoping goes on sale? What do you expect for prices?

I voted for The Matrix Collection becuase it was the only thing on the list that I REALLY want and it's price is always too high for me. If its $40 or below I'll get it.

I voted for the The BBC Natural History Collection

I wish it wasn't two weeks away, trying to set aside money for it but not easy to do

I voted for the Universe as a blind buy. It seems fascinating.

I've just seen Season 1, and it is interesting - if a bit uneven.

Like most Discovery/History Channel shows, it tends to go into the "scare the pants" mentality regularly because it's exciting, but overall I really enjoyed them. Some episodes are good, some are great - they also look awesome in HD.

I voted for the Universe, but I hope their week won't be limited to that and we'll get some good deals on movies and so on as well.

I'm just hoping for something that I want for a good price. If it's only box sets and players, my wallet will most likely get a rest. I can't think of many boxsets I want that I don't already have.

Maybe they will have Lost Seasons 1-5 for $80 again. I missed out 6 months ago.

Ultimate Matrix Trilogy for me. The price has always been high. Unfortunately, not many people voted for it.

I voted for the Matrix. I liked all the choices, but I've been wanting the Matrix for a long time but never wanted to pay the price for it. Hopefully this time they will have it at a lower price than normal.
