I might just wait until they complete the trilogy, with The Haunting in Connecticut 3: Texas Poltergeist

Lmao!

I like how they name it "The Haunting In Connecticut" when it doesn't even take place in Connecticut! What's even funnier is that it comes out in theaters in March and on Blu-ray and DVD a month later.

What's after The Haunting In Connecticut 3: Texas Poltergeist? The Haunting In Connecticut 4: The Demons Of Reno

Oh man, I had heard about this, but didn't realize it set in Georgia.

My guess is that it was a standalone screenplay/movie and they just slapped the Haunting title on it for name recognition.

Nope. It was meant to be the next in the line of The Haunting movies.
Made by same studio as first one.

This will give me something to laugh about for the next few months.
I instantly forgot the first one and have no urge whatsoever to see this. But, if it's released with an R rating (yeah, that'll happen), I'll support that. But I'm sure it's more PG-13 silliness coming in April.

Maybe there's a town in Georgia called Connecticut.

No more Haunting films, they have all sucked for the last decade or so*, stop it please!

* I feel like I'm missing one exception, but cannot put my finger on it.

** Haunting of Molly Hartley dvd is in my collection as a comedy, cuz it's so stupid it's hilarious! Not the exception I was looking for though, it really does suck, it's just funny to me. Couldn't pass for 50 cents during BB closing sale.

Amen. The only film that stuck out with me was Insidious. Otherwise, I'm pretty disappointed with the horror films of late.

At least the cover shouldn't be a disturbing as the cover for the first film.

The name of the movie and the setting obviously doesn't match. Maybe Connecticut is the name of a street in Georgia the film takes place in?

Well be prepared to be disappointed again, I watched this last night on Digital and it was terrible. The first one is a work of art compared to this.

I just finished watching it now and it was not as bad as some people make it seem. Basic average horror film with a much more interesting back story than I expected it to be.

3/5 for me.

Its obviously a marketing strategy to cash in on the already established title.

It has my wifey Katee Sackhoff in there, but it looks pretty bad. Might have to pass on this one.

I just learned that a third movie is planned, and this time they fixed the title issue: The Haunting in New York

They announced it years ago but there hasn't been movement on it for awhile, my guess is the third film is dead after Georgia failed to make any money.
