Default Awesome racing games?

I just ordered a G27 last night and I wondering what some good racing games are that support the wheel. I already have GT3, GT4, Burnout Paradise and I am going to get GT5 the day that it comes out, but I want more.

How are Dirt and NFS: Shift?

Burnout Paradise and Split/Second are the two best racing games that I've played.

GT5 Prologue is kinda cool as well.

Dirt is ok. Dirt 2 is much better. NFS:Shift is a good one as well. Have you played Grid? I enjoyed that one.

Dirt, Dirt2, Grid, Burnout Paradise are the best I've played. NFS series is hit or miss.

While most of the recent NFS games have been very very bad, Shift is a very good game.

Just be aware that with NFS: Shift there is a glitch where the game becomes basically unplayable with a wheel. The game will actually run in slow motion if you use a wheel in later races making it impossible to achieve certain times. Need to use a controller for those.

The demo of Split second did not work with the Wheel.

I liked GT5 Prologue and NFS Shift.

I think I am going to get Dirt, Grid, Split/Second, Motorstorm, and Modnation Racers. Most of them don't support the wheel, but oh well.

I think I've heard good things about Pure before, so I am going to look into that as well.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Congrats on the wheel. I have two Logitech GT Force wheels, and they're a lot of fun with driving games. The racing games I am currently getting the most playing time with are:

GT 5: Prologue - Fantastic with Logitech wheels. Online races are still fairly busy as well.

Ferrari Challenge - Good game, but probably most enjoyed by Ferrari fans since they're single car series races. Online racing is a ghost town though.

Burnout: Paradise - Great arcade racer.

F1: Championship Edition - This is a great Formula 1 game, but sadly, online racing has been retired. However, offline it's still great. It supports Logitech Force Feedback wheels, and specifically lists the G25, so I think the G27 would probably be compatible too. The great thing about this game is the difficulty levels can be set from being arcadey to full simulation with realistic physics and full crash damage.

I was looking into F1 since Logitech has it on their compatibility list, but I'm not sure about it. I did enjoy using the F1 cars in Gran Turismo though.

Gran Turismo Prologue & F1 racing = the 2 best racing games out now (and both use the steering wheels )
