Is it worth getting on Blu? I watched the first one years ago and thought it was pretty good.

If your a fan i'd say go for it, the PQ and AQ is much improved over the DVD's but the downside is that no new extras are included (you still get all the old extras though which are pretty good on their own)

I bought this set a year or so ago and have been happy with them (watch the first one twice and the other 2 once). If the price is good and your a fan i can't see you going wrong with this set

On another note, rumour has it that Mike Meyers is currently writting a fouth filmand that it could see release in the next 2 summers, so there is a chance of a double dip down the road to tie in with the new film

I watched the 1st two films last night, & while I thought the transfers were a definite upgrade (one point being its the 1st North American 2.35:1 video release, was opened up to 2:1 for DVD), the transfers still were kinda lacking IMO.
