India/Bollywood Why is Mosar Baer doing this annoying thing now?

Any representative of Mosar Baer here can he clarify? Why are you all doing this now?

I mean all the first batch of titles in Blu-ray you guys came out Fashion, A Wednesday, Rann etc with were taken back and refunded after the outcry against their quality. It was a brave decision and a truly commendable one.

But then why are these being sold in stores like Planet M, Crossroads and Landmark in Mumbai now.

Last few days I had a chance to visit these stores across Mumbai and saw Mosar Baer Blu's of the above mentioned titles in huge quantity and people were even buying them.

If they have not been revamped why are these inferior products being sold to an unsuspecting customer. Not every customer who buys it may be visiting this forum and would have knowledge about what their quality was and why they were taken back.

Can anyone clarify? Or correct me if I am wrong that these are the new stocks the completely revamped and remastered ones.

These are the same old crappy BDs that were released earlier and I think the whole 'recall' thing was just a farce. Companies like MoserBaer can never change, atleast not until stupid customers learn to demand their rights and vote with their wallets. Forget MoserBaer, the customer should simply take the BDs back to the retailer and demand a refund, specially pointing out the blatant lies regarding the specifications printed on the cover. Believe me, these retailers' feedback is the only one, that companies like MoserBaer & Shemaroo are likely to hear, if at all, that is.

Their blank media is crap, how can we expect their DVDs and Blu-rays to be any good? The fact that these BDs are still in the market tells us what is to come from Mosar Baer. More 'DVDs' posing as Blu-rays.

They won't be the first one to do that though. I rented Butterfly Effect on blu-ray and the BD came with Butterfly Effect 1 & 2 on the same disc.
