01: Berserk!!!!!
![]() ah nuts, I need reguarly scheduled programming....scratch that one. 01: The Simpsons (always a favorite) 02: Futurama! (always) 03: Cowboy Bebop (adult favorite...it airs reguarly, right?) 04: Robot Chicken (adult) 05: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (childhood favorite) 06: Rocko's Modern Life (late childhood favorite) 07: Celebrity Deathmatch (teenage favorite. I'd love it if they put it on disc!!!) 08: Captain Planet and the Planetiers (childhood) 09: Looney Tunes (childhood favorite...I guess I still like them) 10: The X-Men (late childhood...wish I've seen more episodes!) 11: Darkwing Duck (late childhood) 12: Eek! The Cat (late childhood) 13: Garfield and Friends (childhood favorite) 14: Mother Goose and Grimm (late childhood) 15: Tiny Toons (late childhoodfavorite) 16: Itchy and Scratchy....I mean, Tom and Jerry (childhood) 17: Back to the Future (childhood) 18: The Real Ghostbusters (childhood favorite) 19: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (childhood favorite. strange, I never got into the movies themselves...) 20: Duck Tails (late childhood) 21: Wacky Races (childhood) 22: Star Wars: Clone Wars (adult) 23: Rugrats (more or less, a late childhood favorite) 24: Bobby's World (childhood) 25: Johnny Bravo (more or less, a late childhood favorite) 26: Inspector Gadget (childhood) 27: Anything related to Dr Seuss (always. Incl. the Grinch, Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, the Sneaches thing, etc) 28: Drawn Together (adult) 29: Hey...do Robert Smigel's SNL cartoons count? ![]() 30: Ugh, can't think of any more I used to love. I'll just say "The Animaniacs," but I never saw as many episodes of it as I would have liked... Most other ones I've seen (like "Transformers," "Scooby Doo," "Masters of the Universe," etc) I either haven't seen enough of or never really loved enough. I remember catching a few episodes of some anime back in the day (I think it was anime; it was exciting anyway). It looked like a bunch of guys in space riding on buggies or something always battling each other. I seem to remember the opening credits showing some freaky green thing with huge vine-like tendrils sprawling everywhere, and the cars would ride on them. One car could dig underground. Ring any bells anyone?! ![]() Last edited by Al_The_Strange; 05-07-2010 at 10:20 PM. Reason: There is no middle childhood, only late |

In no particular order:
1. Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies (never ment for kids in the first place) 2. Batman (always a favorite) 3. South Park (again, always a favorite) 4. Beavis and Butthead (my adult hood) 5. Futurama (both child and adulthood. So happy that it's coming back) 6. Simpsons, season 1-9 (when it was good) 7. Dexter's Labratory (childhood) 8. Family Guy and American Dad (adult hood) 9. Transformers (I'd mark out like mad if they had a more adult version) 10. Animaniacs (I'd still watch them if I had the chance) 11. Superman (childhood) 12. Batman Beyond (I want to see the uncut movie so bad) 13. Rugrats (another childhood fave) 14. Robot Chicken (why did they have to get rid of the Adult Swim block on my channel!?) 15. Scooby Doo and a Pup Named Scooby Doo (evidence that Shaggy was a stoner when he was a child) 16. KABLAM! (so many sketches, so little time) 17. Ren and Stimpy (I want to watch it all over again) 18. The Bots Master (GAME OVER!) 19. Sonic the Hedgehog (best video game adaptation EVER!) 20. Angry Beavers (sounds like the name of a pair of lesbians who disagree with each other) 21. TMNT (wonder what the movie reboot will be like) 22. Inspector Gadget (go go gadget childhood) 23. Rocko's Modern Life (might watch it again) 24. Tiny Toon Advertures (see above) 25. Drawn Together (adult hood, probably import the movie if its region free) 26. Ulyssies 31 (A European Anime? Is that possible?) 27. Beast Wars (I wonder if Michael...no, that would be a bad idea) 28. Tom and Jerry (like Looney Tunes, not a kiddie show. I mean, remember the one where Tom got depressed and tried to kill himself?) 29. Pokemon (thats still going!?) 30. Garfield and Friends (theres always the comic strip for me) And wow CZAR, you actually didn't end your post with Got em!! Only halfway through it. Any chance you can fix that? |

Hey Czar, Many of the cartoons you listed were actually shown in movie theaters before the features. Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Popeye, etc, were theatrical cartoons made during the 30s, 40s & 50s, before they started airing on TV.
Anyway, that's just a technicality, as I saw all those cartoons when they aired as syndicated program blocks on TV in the 70's. My list: 1. Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies 2. MGM cartoons (Tex Avery, Tom & Jerry) 3. Popeye (black and white Fleischer Studios version) 4. Woody Woodpecker & Friends (the ones from the 40's, not 50's) 5. Wallace and Gromit 6. Disney (Donald, Goofy, Mickey, etc.) 7. Pink Panther & Friends (Ant and the Aardvark, for example) 8. Ren & Stimpy 9. The Mighty B! 10. Spongebob Squarepants 11. The Powerpuff Girls 12. Heckle and Jeckle 13. The Simpsons 14. South Park 15. Peanuts Specials 16. The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse (the one by Ralph Bakshi from the '80s.) 17. Beavis and Butthead 18. The Jetsons 19. Huckleberry Hound (I haven't seen this since I was a kid. I'm going off of dim memories.) 20. The Flintstones 21. Futurama 22. Dexter's Lab 23. Kimba the White Lion 24. Speed Racer (Again, something I only liked as a child.) *EDIt* I thought of a few more... 25. Rocky and Bullwinkle 26. Robot Chicken Sorry, I couldn't come up with 50 entrees. Last edited by J. J.
