Well I have decided to order the 3 Paramount films from my wishlist at Amazon anyway.
BTW if you have a look in the Movies section of Blu-ray.com they have a split of current movies by Studio. But be quick before they remove it ![]() I reckon I still want these movies so get them quick - it will be a while before they catch up on Blu-ray movies for HD-DVD ... a la Warner ![]() |

I will wait for the fire sale.
I was looking forward to Top Gun, Blades of Glory, and Transformers. But I have not purchased many of the other Paramount releases for the following reasons: Paramount titles are expensive (average $29), most of the titles released are from their 70's and 80's catalogue, and most important is Paramount usually does not include lossless audio. So to be honest, I usually placed Paramount titles in my Netflix queue rather than buy them. I am sad to see Paramount go (if for only 18 months). It's the corporate greed that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. M$ practices business like communists run countries. Sheesh, let the consumer decide. |

Seems counterintuitive to boycott Paramount Blu-rays. By buying them, you show Paramount that you will buy their BDs. Isn't that exactly the message we want to deliver to every studio?
It goes without saying to boycott Paramounts HD DVDs. |

Agreed. I'd add SD DVDs to the Paramount boycott list too.

Yea, i'm boycotting their DVD's and theatrical releases.
I will only buy Blu. I hope they continue producing their current releases on blu...but I doubt it. There were quite a few that I had still intended to pick up...like we were soldiers. |

i think ppl should get the paramount blu ray movies they want now cause it will show paramount how much money they will be losing once they stop producing blu ray. Also since Steven Speilberg movies will be blu ray does that mean Transformers?

Once the current stock is sold out, they're not going to reprint the BDs.
