The baffling mystery of DTPH and KANK Blu-ray screen shots
The guys at Yash Raj are baffled how can any one have screen shots of Dil To Pagal Hai and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna Blu-rays when not a single disk has been dispatched by them (their claim) to any seller in India or anywhere abroad. They will be doing so by Saturday (May 15th) only. My trusted source called me few minutes back conveying the same. Yash Raj is not responsible for the the quality of screen shots posted here or any other place on the net. So buyers should not form their opinion by seeing them unless the official blu-ray for the same are out. Guys now I am confused with all these ![]() Can any one care to clarify...who is right and who is not? whom to trust and whom to not? ![]() Last edited by O Yeahh; 05-13-2010 at 10:36 AM. |

Yash Raj is surprised but I think they do send comp copies to people before the stock hit the stores. And perhaps DDR or others have managed it that way or could be an inside job as well. Who knows? |

I've been told some of these have been sold and shipped already out of India via eBay. And it's not just a claim, it actually tells you on the user's page their sale record of the item. I'm totally floored now.
Are you sure YRF isn't full of crap? Leaks happen all the time with everything and they might be covering themselves. Otherwise, it means a pirated BD is going around and somehow I don't see that happening. Also, as bad as a group like DDR is, divyansh seems to be right to me. They're also high quality nerds like most of us--they're NOT gonna rip from a bootleg; they make them to the best of their abilities. I know that sounds weird, but it's a superiority complex most release groups have. They basically want to claim more glamor than the original company owning the work. The only other final thing is that, like someone said, it could be an upscale. DDR did use to do those, but I thought they long since stopped when BDs started to come out. Well, it's not like promoting piracy, but the point here is, the screenshots are from original source, however it came. And this is what, YRF has packed for us.
As Shiaedoeu has said above, and as far as I know, they are high quality nerds. As I can see from screenshots, they don't seem to me upscaled ones, considering the quality of images. |

I am not sure these 'screenshots' qualify as pirated. Although, these same people may be ripping the BD and allowing downloads of the movies. The fact that the screenshots are taken from the original BD means they are not pirated. Ofcourse, the assumption is that the screenshots have come from a leaked original 'YRF' BD.
