La Planète Sauvage Blu Ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if René Laloux's "La Planète Sauvage" (Fantastic Planet), is available ANYWHERE as a Region Free blu-ray title?

If so...could you please direct me, as to where to find it. It's a movie that I saw in the movies, the year it was released in the US. I've picked it up on DVD, but would love to have it on BD.

Masters Of Cinema is scheduled to release this on blu-ray in the UK in July. I've yet to hear whether or not it will be region-free or not. So far, only 2 of their blu-rays have been locked to Region-B. They strive to release region-free releases when it's in their power to do so. Go check out the stickied MOC thread in the UK sectoon of the forums, if you haven't already.

apparently it is already out in France, but certainly the MoC release offers a better chance at being region free with English subs.
never even heard the specs of the French release, but the chances of it being region free with English subs are probably less then 1%.
