Denon AH-D5000

So I'm a Marine stationed over seas, in a room with two other dudes and more furniture then should be in a room this size. So getting a good surround sound set up with a nice receiver is kind of a non option. But I'm looking for a nice set of head phones to give me detailed and accurate sound. So I was thinking the Denon AH-D5000 and an Astro mixamp...Basically I'm trying to find a personal set up that can provide accurate enough sound and directionality for video games, and natural true to life sound for movies and music...Or just something that will preform well for all three medias. Any info, insight, or experience with said headphones or a set up that provides the desired results would be greatly appreciated.
