Only one i have is Lionheart. There was a big audio issue with that one that they eventually fixed and sent out replacements. At least, I think it's all fixed now? I know I have the corrected disc. As far as the package as a whole, I think it's a great set. Really cool slipcover and a bunch of good new special features. PQ is good, not mind blowing, but much better than DVD, obviously. I think these MVD ones are mainly worth getting if you like special features. I'll definitely keep supporting this label though if it means getting gems like these on blu. I preordered both Showdown and Nemesis and am really looking forward to them.

I pre-ordered this one 2 weeks ago, and I actually still have my VHS copy LOL, actually went and saw a few clips of this on YouTube, it's still a fun movie. I pre-ordered Double Dragon & Double Impact as well, the only MVD release I currently own right now is Lionheart and I'm pretty satisfied with the bonus features and the presentation of the movie itself so I'm going to keep supporting the label as much as I can.

Just ordered this. Looks like us people here in the UK will finally get the uncut version! The BBFC trimmed the butterfly knife scenes, only 6 secs but still

Has this release been delayed? On Amazon it says the release date is March 12th, but on blu-ray.com it says it is February 26th.

It looks like it, but if you look at Bestbuy website it still has the Feb 26 release date.

Mine just came from Walmart today. Fedex just drop it off and after watching it I have to say the PQ looks good to me.

My copy arrived earlier this afternoon than expected. Just got done watching the film, and I'm very pleased with the quality of the transfer. I love seeing that retro Imperial Entertainment logo at the start of the film. This is the best quality ive seen of the film since the 'Cable' days. Now it's time to check out the special features.

Received my copy yesterday and had a blast with it. It kind of reminded me of Class of Nuke Em High a bit with the over-the-top bullies and gross-out scenes. It was a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is that mine arrived with a blue case instead of the usual clear one. Are they all like that?

Arrived yesterday for me too and watched it. Loved it ... but the high resolution made me see background posters of other martial art gems I would love MVD to restore and release on blu-ray. Look for these easter egg posters during the movie:

I got mine earlier today. Lossy Dolby Digital audio tracks only ... but at least it looks like it doesn't have the DNR applied on the transfer like the old German Blu-ray did.

The new 98-minute Documentary should be worth it alone though.

Thankfully I've seen people like or "second" my hopes of Breathing Fire getting an MVD Rewind release. It was like if you took one of those lower budget Super Nintendo side scrolling beat 'em ups (Like Rival Turf, lol) and turned it into a movie... a lot of early 90s nostalgia

Yeah, mine was like that too. I'm guessing because it's just a special edition blu-ray minus a DVD Copy.

Nope... It's because they discontinued the clear case and are switching all future releases and reprints to blue cases. At least that is what I read on the MVD thread from the source.

Got my copy from Amazon on Tuesday but didn't get a chance to sit down and watch it until last night.

It's been years since I've last seen it but it brought me back to the days of watching it all the time on HBO.

I didn't get to really check the extras out too much but I'll probably do that this weekend.

Also I completely forgot about this song during one of the montages. I remember loving it back then.

Sadly I can't find it anywhere except on YouTube.

Just watched this cheesy Karate Kid ripoff on Tubi and found out that there are two versions - a PG-13 one and an R-rated one.

Anyone know what the differences are? Just curious.
