Needs a 3rd option, take them off and throw away/put in a box somewhere in the spare room.

Hate is such a strong word

Yeah, sorry, I didn't think to include a third option when I made it...Let's just say that the hate 'em option counts as anything other than liking them (eg. throwing them away, putting them in a drawer, etc...)

I don't care. If I get one I'll keep it, but if I don't then no biggie.

I really like them. They just make the cases look better. Although, they usually cause a problem for me nowadays - if I know there's a blu-ray released with a slipcover and I don't get one, then I end up very disappointed.

Yeah, that's the same with me because I recently bought the first two Toy Stoty films on BD from Tesco and not one had a slipcover, so I thought all Toy Story BDs didn't have slipcovers, only to discover 2 hours later in Blockbuster that they did and I'm still annoyed with myself.

But back to the question, yes I do like them but my problem is you're always trying to protect them so they don't ware away at the corners, which can be frustrating.

Totally indifferent so I've not voted. Shame polls are so often just extreme opinions

If I get a disc with one, I'll keep it, except for The Dark Knight and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, since I preferred their inlay cover designs to their slipcover ones. If a disc doesn't come with one, it won't really matter to me.

Love lots, but if it's damaged (even in the slightest) it's going in the bin.

Ah, me too. I threw away my Body of Lies and Gladiator ones because they had creases. Unless it's mint condition, I think they make it look worse!

Can't decide if I like them or not, I like how the amary cases look with the blue tops lined up together, but slipcovers are appealing when they're embossed etc.
