Default Best 7.1 Sound Blu-ray to Show Off System

I am looking for a good action flick that has 7.1 audio to show off the system.

Or, if you think my Denon 1909 will upscale to 7.1 on a movie like Transformers 2 just as well as a not so good movie in 7.1, then I will not bother buying one.

I saw War and thought that might be a decent one. I hear the Disney ones are cool, but I'm looking for action movies.

Transporter 3 is SWEET for 7.1. I can't recommend it enough. If you watch it, tell me if you like the...
[Show spoiler]car chase scene when Frank (Jason Stathum) turns the car on its side and drives between the 18-wheeler and then turns off into the woods. At the end of that scene, the chasing car flies off of a cliff and slams into the rocks below. Listen to the shrapnal land behind your head. AWESOME!
.

Oh yeah, and at the end when
[Show spoiler]Frank crashes his car into the moving train-car. Followed by the fight scene. Followed by the high pitch of the killer wristband and explosion!!!
Oh man, if your testosterone isn't going crazy at the end of that scene, you're not a guy!

I have also heard that 3:10 to Yuma is good, but I don't remember that movie having a lot of action. The gun fights are supposed to be spectacular. I'm going to rent it again now that I've upgraded to 7.1.

Live Free or Die Hard ( aka Die Hard 4) it's 5.1, but if the Denon can apply PLIIx (7.1) it's one hell of a ride. Great surround and bass.

My Denon can apply PLIIx Cin 7.1. I have only played around with it a little bit, 2012 seems pretty cool, NiN live is very nice.

Transporter 3 will be a good one to buy, I like Jason Stathom anyways (except for the worst movie ever, Crank 2).

Where's the love for Hellboy II? Gotta be the best native 7.1 soundtrack. There are plenty of others that are 5.1 that sound great matrixed out to 7.1, but that flavor is not to everyone's taste (personally I keep PLIIx on for all my 5.1 content).

Just keep in mind films aren't natively mixed for 7.1

Pretty much all discs on the market have been reprocessed for 7.1 using a professional version of what your processor does.

Hellboy II would probably be my pick. Lots of great scenes/moments for demo purposes. Gamer is another killer 7.1 track.

Even though it's a Sci/Fi I thought the Stargate 15th Anniversary Edition's 7.1 DTS HD Master Audio was very good. The movie is good too.

.... Until now. It seems Toy Story 3 will be in 7.1. Dolby has apparently invented a new format (Dolby Surround 7.1) for 7.1 in theaters.

Rambo all the way! I can't think of another 7.1 mix that assaults your speakers this brutally! Dark City isn't half-bad either. There's some good action sequences in that which really crank out on the 7.1 mix.

Rambo was great no doubt, but I think both Hellboy II and Gamer have it beat.
