I'm having a hard time with this one. I hate the fast angle switches, it seems to be done too much. I don't see much BD quality in the release. I wanted to watch a few other concerts on blu before I give my review on this.
FWIW, I'm watching EWF/Chicago and the visuals are much better. And this isn't considered for high PQ but it's more enjoyable to watch over again. Last edited by DigitalHoarder; 12-17-2009 at 12:35 AM. |

I think you can play this BD and the same video in DVD, side by site, and you'll see no difference. This show looks like poor DVD material put on a BD disk.
But... BD is a new standard for video disks, so everything will be released in this format, not only that awesome quality material. |

I only have a few concerts on BD.
David Gilmour: Remember That Night Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Jack Johnson- En Concert Andre Bocelli KOL Live at the O2 London. KOL is the BD that is always in my player cranking. I feel the PQ is night and day over standard DVD. A must have if you are a KOL fan. |

I don't regret the purchase, and any KOL fan will be quite pleased. The video just doesn't pop out like it did in my only other concert BDs: The Last Waltz and Chicago/EWF (this gets low scored compared to Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds, which I don't have yet.) |

I ordered it at DDD for $14.64. Cheapest I found so far.
Picture does get out of focus at times but still decent. AQ is great. It's my favorite concert on blu right now and I find myself putting it in the player a few times a week after work. However, my complaint is I think the camera captures too much of audience at times and I get annoyed watching all the people sitting on shoulders or hands/arms blocking the camera's view of the band. Highly Recommended for fans. |

I think the PQ is good on this release. I'm guessing people are turned off by the fact that it has visible grain. Not sure how it was filmed, but there is easily visible high-def detail. The audio is great, though, and I really dig the set list. I've watched this show three times since picking the disc up around Christmas.
