XBox 360's HD DVD drive... features ? - Blu-ray Forum

On the xbox site for the player one feature reads:

"Independent research of gamers and players shows HDTV owners prefer HD DVD two to one over Blu-ray."

That's funny...the sales go the other way

what's the difference in "Players" and "Gamers"?

At least they meantion blu-ray by name, as a marketing person myself..it should read ".....two to one over other high def media formats"

Exactly, the definition of gamers and players must refer to Xbox 360 owners.

i really wonuldn't be suprised if it was as small as 2:1 amongst 360 gamers. A lot of them have blu-ray and no hd dvd.

and if that's the case, isn't it funny that 1 out of every 3 xbox 360 owners would rather dish out a few hundred dollars to get a blu-ray player than get a $170 hd-dud add-on?

watch it be like those hd dvd promo group stats, where all ps3ers are not in the numbers because they are multi-functions users and are not considered gamers.
