User locations gone for good?

I personally found the user's location info under their avatar on posts very helpful and was wondering if there were plans to bring it back to forum posts? Was it removed to make room for the new "repped" feature?

I know you can find it on a member's profile but that can be a unnecessary step to take in most instances.

Here's a few examples of how seeing where a poster is from helps me...
Gaming: finding other blu members in the same time zone for meeting up in multiplayer games.
Trading: to quickly verify if location matches the info I was given by a buyer/seller.
-Deals- seeing if sale items are still in stock at local B&M's in my area based on posts from other locals.

I'm sure others out there can chime in on the issue as I have seen in a couple of other random threads.
