So, I was looking at iPods on Amazon this morning...

...and there was a seller selling new 8gb iPod Touches for $1 + $5.99 for shipping. I figured it must be a mistake, but I tried to order one anyway thinking I may get lucky. The order is placed and it is set to ship tomorrow, anyone think this'll happen? I would think it'd be the same as if a store marked a product's price wrong, they'd have to sell to you for that price regardless.

I was going to buy my 160GB from the actual Amazon store, but I went ahead and bought mine from BB.

I was looking at Touches, and did not come across the one you're talking about.

It was around 9:30am. They must've taken it down shortly thereafter. The odd thing is the seller only has 2 items for sale and they're books. I wonder if Amazon is obligated to give it to me for that price because it was on the Amazon Marketplace.

No seller/retailer is ever obligated(baring liberal state consumer protection laws) to honor a pricing mistake (especially if they've displayed boilerplate language to such effect.)
Amazon, on the other hand, may give you a small credit or something to keep you happy.

At that price, I'm guessing the listing was (suppose to be) for an iPod Touch case.

Edit: The seller now has an actual 8GB iPod Touch listed for $165. The seller is also a new seller so it's feasible the seller made a typo.
