Hi, i have been a lurking user of these forums for a while, and have found a lot of the discussions on here very helpful in the past.
Well, the time has come, that i need some advice. My wife and I have finally purchased our first home, and I get control of the downstairs/ rec room. Or as i like to call it, my man cave. I have a chance to set up my home theater, in a nice way, but have run into a speaker placement problem. I thought i read on this site, or somewhere else, that the center channel should be as close to the tv/ screen as possible. because of a window behind my screen, i only have two options really (in my opinion). 1: move the receiver from the shelf in the tv stand to another location, and put the center speaker in it's place, or 2: mount the speaker above the window. any opinions/ help, and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks |
