Not George A. Romero's but errr... Simon Rumley's
![]() ![]() Already had the DVD of this but thought I'd give the German Blu-ray a look because it's a Blu-ray and it's a Steelbook. Good enough reasons I think ![]() It's 1080i and has full English audio with no restrictions. That's about it really except to say it's an improvement over the DVD but it's never gonna have the picture quality of Shrek. Lots and lots of intentional grain merely adds to the film's edginess. The UK DVD has a few extras BTW which is the similar to the US release (UK does have a commentary however). If you want a scan of the cover I'll post one. Be careful though because I've seen a UK release with nothing but the trailer. Many people don't like this but I've always appreciated it as a very uncomfortable watch and quite disturbing dealing with psychosis/madness or whatever you want to call it. Definitely worth a look if you like something a bit different (or just like cheap Steelbooks). |
