Hello forum
![]() I need some help to calibrate my new Sony tv. It is a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX402. It's bought in Norway, and I belive the name for it on Sony's page is EX400. I need help with turing the light sensor off (since I do not know where to find that setting) And I want my black level set to "LOW". I have a Samsung LE40B530 in my living room and there I have a setting called "HDMI black level". I can't seem to find it in the Sony menu. I used Monster Calibration Dvd to calibrate the tv. And I am pretty happy, but I want my black levels to be more blackish, and not grey. On the calibration dvd it seemed as if the black levels where good, but when I tried Dead Space on my xbox 360 the dark looked somewhat grey. Is this because of the game? Anyway, these are my settings: Picture Mode: Standard Backlight: 5 Contrast: 67 Brightness: 64 Colour: 47 Sharpness: 57 Colour Temperature: Neutral Noise Reduction: Off Advanced Contrast Enhancer: Off Auto Light Limiter: Off Live Colour: Off I mainly use the tv in the dark, but sometimes in daylight with curtains drawn. Thanks in advance! Last edited by gamerman; 06-04-2010 at 06:47 PM. |
