Still a bit of a wait, but good to hear it's coming at last. Great series.

The source is HMV.
The day in January it's released will either be the 9th or the 16th.

Hbo should sack whoever organizes their releases, this and game of thrones should have been out for Christmas.

Boardwalk Empire should have been out now. The new season starts next Saturday, this would've given a great way for people to either refresh their memories, or watch the first season if they missed it on Sky Atlantic.

Really odd the way HBO handles these things - don't they want to make money?

Hmm, I want the second just because it's an 'exclusive' but that price just for a photobook is a bit steep.

Speaking on TV in general, I'm still hoping for Blue Bloods & Damages 2 - 4 on BR.

You mean, will wee get it at the end of the week? Cause, I hope we get it at the end of the week too. Nothing has been processed for mine from HMV as of yet. I ain't seen it since it was on TV, so, I can't wait to watch it again.

I was originally planning on waiting until Game of Thrones was out on Blu-Ray too, and was gonna take two days off work to watch both shows back-to-back on Blu-Ray. But, I don't really wanna wait another two months, haha.

HBOshop have an exclusive free disc containing Designing The Empire http://store.hbouk.com/boardwalk-emp...re&pagemax=all . Interesting use of the word "free" as they're charging £15 more than Amazon

Plus the extra disc will probably come in a G1 case awkwardly taped to the blu-ray box, just as the picture suggests.

Great series, though - long overdue a blu.

Will the extras on the UK set match those on the US?

There's some things we're just gonna have to live with. 1:1 dollar to pound conversions is one of those things.

Anybody got this yet? What is the packaging like?

I'm hoping it's one of those Digipaks instead of a standard Amaray inside a slipbox...
