Default HELP!! Bond or Battlestar Galactica?

I have a dilemma. I want both the 11 movie Bond set ($99.99) and the Battlestar Galactica Limited Edition Complete Series set ($149.99). Both are monster deals. What would you guys do?

I can't afford both , but don't want to miss out on the deals.

There is no reason why you shouldn't pick the one you like the best.

I vote for BSG.
I like both franchises and have some Bond movies. 4SB's (Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, and Thunderball) Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace. I've seen most of them but don't like them all. BSG on the other hand is a great series in my opinion.

I am leaning towards BSG just for the fact that they have the new packaging and Amazon is dumping the old packaging stock. IMO. I think I am going for BSG.

Not the new one. I was a big fan of the old one and have heard so many good things about the new one.

I have seen all the Bond movies over the years, but do not own any of them.

Then absolutely BSG! It is a must see experience and you are in for a real treat...one of my favourite shows.

I'd go with BSG. Those Bond movies will keep going down in price. Some of them can be purchased only a dollar more then this deal. Plus its only a matter of time before all the Bond movies come out in a set and these will go down further IMO,

Atleast that's the rationale I used.

Agreed. I grew up on the Bond movies and love 'em, but if he has never seen BSG then I'd go that direction.

I am currently on my first BSG viewing, halfway through season two as of last night. What a great show....

If you liked the original series you WILL NOT like the new version. I am a big fan of the original series (I own it on DVD), but I couldn't watch the new series for more than one season. I forced myself to finish the first season because I hoped it would get better, which it didn't. My advise is to rent the first season and then decide if you want it.

I'd go with the Bonds because outside of Black Friday you probably won't be able to get them this low.
