2010 MTV Movie Awards - Blu-ray Forum

Now I know alot of people on here probably didn't catch it, but I employ you to go on youtube and find the Tom Cruise/Jennifer Lopez/Hangover Guys/Ludacris segment..This and Tropic Thunder made Tom Cruise cooler than when he screamed "Show me the Money" and "I love black people"

If you caught the show, what did you think overall?

I think whoever they had doing the censoring was on drugs or something. They kept missing F-bombs and bleeping regular words. lol

Peter Facinelli (Twilight, Nurse Jackie) during his acceptance speech at the end was like "I'd like to f***ing thank Peter Rosenberg(?)" and they bleeped the word "PETE"

ha ha ha ha.

There were some funny moments. Aziz Ansari as Precious was funny. The Blindside one was funny. The R. Kelly song was terrible.

Mark Wahlberg was golden, ponyboy!

I loved when the kid who plays Malfoy on Harry Potter was accepting the award, and Walhberg was like "oh come on! hurry up!" and when he said he wanted to thank his mom, Wahlberg's like "are you f***ing kidding me? This isn't the Oscars kid!" ha ha ha

That's kind of like when rappers thank god for their awards. I'm an Athiest but I also find myself thinking, if there was a god, i'm pretty sure he isn't a fan of what you do, lol.

Outside of the Tom Cruise/Jennifer Lopez dance, this was a complete joke. And the winners of the events awards are a joke as well. And to have such a big event and to let Snooki be one of the commentators in the very beginning just makes a mockery of it all. Not saying Snooki is a bad person, but she really just isn't classy enough.

I never take this show seriously and only ever watch for the movie parodies/trailers/comedy segments/etc..
I'm not shocked Twilight won everything considering the people that still watch MTV everyday after school are the ones that vote for it. I liked New Moon, but found Harry Potter to be the better movie. I also found Taylor Lautner/Daniel Radcliffe/Logan Lerman to be better than Robert Pattinson considering he was only in 20 minutes of an almost 2 hour movie. How does he win best male? lol
