I just bought Freddy Vs. Jason and Nightmare On Elm Street from Best Buy and the receipt came out as $15 for them combined since I had reward points. I know that they were released a long time ago in Canada, but was wondering if Canada got the better release.
I just watched Freddy Vs. Jason and noticed the audio was kind of crap. The surrounds were fine, but it was fairly soft, for the most part, and many of the effects weren't as aggressive as I expected. Is the Canadian louder, but still maintaining the crisp dialogue? And what about the picture quality. I thought it was alright for the U.S. release, but haven't seen the Canadian release. As for Nightmare On Elm Street, the picture quality is pretty good and the audio was underwhelming, as well. Are the Alliance/Canadian releases better releases? I'm trying to decide if I should just give the U.S. releases to my buddy and buy the Canadian releases... Comparisons for the picture qualities and audio qualities of both releases from both countries would be very much appreciated. Last edited by blu_fan; 06-13-2010 at 06:58 AM. |
