Hi guys, Need some feedback here on something funky that happened tonight.
I have a Sony BDP-S270, tonight when i went to use it the player wouldn't boot correctly. It would hang, go home and then shut off. Well I finally unplugged the usb stick i had in there and it was fine. I tried my other usb stick and it was still fine. Is it possible for usb sticks to fail? the other thing is, it could have gotten some corrupt or otherwise funky BDLive data on that stick that made the player malfunction. As a precaution though, I did reset everything back to factory defaults and everything is fine, Playing a disc now in fact. The feedback am looking for is do you think this issue was strictly related to that one usb stick/ data on that drive? or has the player itself become unstable ? it's brand new I exchanged the 570 because the 570 had firmware bugs plus I didn't need all the features it offered. This one is a much more suitable version for me. Thanks in advance |
