I think you misunderstood OP. It was $69.99 and was reduced by $27.50 and is currently on sale for $42.49.

+1, the price after VAT is removed and shipping is added is GBP18.34, which is roughly $28 CDN, so its $20 cheaper from .co.uk (~10 if you get dinged, which is unlikely if you order BoB alone).

I have this series on DVD and have yet to watch it still... I'm hoping that when The Pacific comes to blu-ray, they'll have a bundle with the two of them for an unbelievable low price!

This IS a good deal I think. But what's even better: CDPlus has the BD Band of Brothers with The Pacific Sampler disc for $44.99! Picked up my set today & they had a couple left. Not bad since this bundle is $90 everywhere else!

I got the Pacific sampler pack at Walmart for $65 before I saw this thread. I bought another copy here and if it comes without the sampler I will still return it to Walmart. After all the non-sample pack was stickered at a higher price there.

Gotta love when you get to beat the system. As stated above I bought the BOB with The Pacific Episode 1 pack at Wally for $65. Then ordered BOB off Amazon because of this thread. It doesn't have the Pacific disc but I took it back to Walmart anyways and got $85 back as a gift card! I spend that there easy in a week so all in all I made 20 bucks while saving another 20! Then I got Max Payne with movie cash for A-Team for only 10 bucks. Silly little stickers that don't stick

Why not question all the horrible choices made by rabbit? I guess I could have gotten JCVD for 10 bucks but then I'd own that crap plus have to pay $7.50 more to see A-Team, Knight and Day or Predators. $2.50 for Mila Kunis firing full auto is a steal in my opinion.

I really don't pay much attention to what people buy, because taste is a very subjective thing... But Max Payne is easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen theatrically. I have no idea, to this day, how it ever got made. If nothing else, I can say I know someone who owns it.

PS - JCVD was a fantastic film.
