Default Got my first "real" screen today

Hi,

I've been using projectors since 1999 but my screen has always been a DIY version made with Black Out Cloth (BOC) from Jo Ann fabrics.

Well,... today I went to a computer recycling center to buy a used video card and they had some screens. I bought a Da Lite Picture King tri-pod screen for $35.

I set it up in my HT to check it out and thought it was great and better than my BOC screen.

But... To use it... I have to cut the material out and dis-card the whole tripod thing and make it fixed frame. I don't have room for the tri-pod and I prefer fixed frame. (I was able to see some waves in the screen with just the tri-pod setup.

I'm scared to cut into it though... I hope the project goes well.
