Fried HDMI Cables! Ever happen to anybody else.. Bad HDMI on recieved :(

So the receiver is a Onkyo TS-XR805. Basically it has 3 HDMI inputs and one out. It started off with only the 2 HDMI input working, then none.

Then the receiver started killing actually HDMI cables, I did not know that was possible.

I ran the HDMI from the PS3 direct to the Display (60" 1080p set).. Then I tried running it through the receiver.. Result nothing. Back to the direct connection PS3 to Display again, no good. Tried 3 different HDMI's, fried them all.. Weird and ridiculously frustrating at the same time..

These were some budget Monoprice as well as some $40 HDMI my brother bought at Best Buy.. Same result, killed them..

Well beyond warranty on the receiver. Still works fine using any of the RCA inputs for audio and plays audio fine. Still works for On Screen Display from HDMI out to the tv.
