The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.

Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 starts June 15 with various conferences.

I'm really getting the impression Sony is holding their cards VERY close to their chest this year. The Last Guardian leak before E3 last year went from a HUGE announcement to "oh...I already saw that a week ago". I hope they have something awesome to announce that will floor everyone.

Total nerd alert.....I really want to see the new Mortal Kombat DC Universe was okay, but throwing a ton of unnecessary violence would make me the happiest man alive Or Shenmue III would also make me cry tears of joy

I really want to see a new psp, I also want to see what Sony has lined up for this fall. I just cant wait for E3 this year and I hope they provide a download of the press conference so I can watch it when I get off of work. It will be difficult avoiding all the news until I can watch the press conference.

I think they will. PlayStation®Store is going to be updating with new content for every day during E3.

Hmm I wonder how long it would take to download an 1-2 hr HD presentation

It might be just me but I want to experience the press conference as if I was there. I dont want to read all the news stories before I watch the conference. I want to be surprised...wow I'm nerdy haha.

I wish I believe this, I really do. But both of the last two E3s were supposed to be huge, and defining for the PS3, and both were so-so in terms of import.

Of course, I'm probably just jaded. Just ONCE I'd like to see a Final Fantasy 13 style "steal" from Sony, and I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment because that just won't happen.

I really don't understand why there's no Gears of War or Mass Effect on PS3 by now.

Seems to me that Sony has learned from their mistakes of revealing titles too early this year.
I remember vividly the Resistance2 year+ long hype, which in the end still produced a good game, but that fell short of expectations.

On the other side, they have to score big with GT5 given the stratospheric wait and hype.

My guess:
Agent (barely hinted at until now, nice secrecy)
Resistance 3
Killzone 3
Infamous 2

already revealed but presented in more details
Last Guardian
Socom 4
And of course GT5 with official launch date this time


Plus one big surprise (Spacehawk? Twisted Metal HD?)

I also have the feeling that if it is ever to happen, the reveal of the Mass Effect and Splinter Cell Conviction ports should happen this year @ E3.

They will keep a possible new WipEout, LBP2 and a few other things (Heavy Rain 2?) for Leipzig, and FF versus & co for the Japanese show in OCtober.

I'm gonna make a prediction soon, but right now I have a feeling that LBP2 will be shown and possibly playable on the showfloor but the real blowout will be at Leipzig.
