I think this is the best he has sounded since Lucifuge. I can't wait.

Damn! I didn't know about that limited edition. That looks pretty sweet. I picked the cd up today after work. Pretty cool artwork inside. Not a fan of fake breasts, but there's a nice topless woman when you open up the case.

As far as the cd goes, the sound is pretty heavy. I had to turn down the bass on some of the songs. The recording has a bit of a retro feel to it. Overall I am very pleased with this cd. Some great guitar playing on here. And suprisingly great use of stereo and a lot of vocal and guitar layering. I wasn't a fan of Black Aria, but after hearing arrangements on this, I'm looking forward to Black Aria III.

Glenn's voice may have lost a little power over the years, but he still has a lot of range. And the vocals are a lot more melodic than he's done in years. Overall, this cd rocks. If you like early Danzig and Samhain, definitely pick this up.

two of my friend's band is opening for him right now. their band is All Shall Perish. I'm stoked for them, and a bit jealous.
