Default BluRay coding question for a newbie

Hello all,

I have a small store (Ebay) & have sold regular dvds for several years. I'm beginning to get some BluRays in. I really just sell them because with 2 small kids, I don't get much time to watch a lot - so I don't know a lot about the technical aspects. I'm curious about Region coding. I know regular dvds have certain coding & our U.S. dvds can't be viewed in some other countries. My question is .....Are BluRay discs coded in any way or are they basically "universal" - meaning, they can be viewed the same in any country (code free)?

By the way, I do have a couple titles listed currently on Ebay (Perfect Stranger, Vacancy, Premonition) if you need them. ID is heelsman23 if you're interested - I appreciate your time. Also, keep checking back this Fall as I expect to start receiving more titles to post for sale.

Thanks
