I'm surprised that there isn't a thread on this release as of yet.

I have an unopened copy of this sitting on my BD shelf...bought from Best Buy (I'm still very surprised that they are not only carrying a film that is in German, but had it on the release date).

The reviews have been sterling and I will undoubtedly open and view it this weekend. I see that there are (2) versions of this...a UK version (released by Artificial Eye) and the US version (mine) released by Sony.

Two different reviewers have rated it on this website...the UK version seems to have a slightly better review. Is the UK appreciably better than the US version...or is this simply a case of differences of opinion by two reputable reviewers?

Has anyone purchased and viewed either/both versions of this film and what do you think?

There's a thread and some discussion here.
