Default Blu-ray comparison reviews

Hello folks,

I understand, like DVD's blu-ray's release also differs from Country to Country.. ok just found out this recently, Hope is not too late.
I'm concerning more about the picture quality and the Audio. I can live with the lack of some extras.

So I would like some suggestions of site where I can see comparations of different versions (country), that have the accurate information about picture, audio and subtitle, if is theatrical or director's cut edition..

www.dvdcompare.net was good in DVD but not much updates in blu-ray's. If possible would be great direct comparation reviews/sites.

I've being buying the UK edition and I would like your opinion about the below titles, concerning like I said before picture/audio/cut.. What I mean is, is there any other edition better than the UK?

16 Blocks
Across the Universe
Ćon Flux
All The Boys Love Mandy Lane
AVP: Alien vs. Predator
AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem
Blood Diamond
Catch And Release
Click
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Firewall
Freedomland
Ghost Rider: Extended Cut
Good Luck Chuck: Fruity Edition
Hairspray: Shake & Shimmy Edition
Hellboy
Hitch
Hitman: Extreme Edition
Hostage
Into the Blue
Jumper
Juno
License To Wed
Lucky Number S7evin
Next
Perfect Stranger
Rumour Has It
S.W.A.T.
Shooter
Silent Hill
Stealth
The Condemned
The Death And Life Of Bobby Z
The Departed
The Lake House
The Marine
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
The Prestige
The Sentinel
TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Transformers: Special Edition
Ultraviolet
V For Vendetta
Vacancy
War
xXx
xXx: The Next Level

I'm also thinking on buying the following:
300
All the King's Men
Batman - Gotham Knight
Closer
Deception
Dragon Wars (US/UK AVC, TrueHD 5.1 vs Korea AVC, DTS 5.1)
In the Valley of Elah
House of Wax
Layer Cake (Supposedly the Japanese version has a higher bitrate)
P2
Sky High
Reign Over Me
Resident Evil
Resident Evil - Apocalypse
Resident Evil 3: Extinction (Japanese Box Set is the Best Release - Box Set is the only way to get all 3 movies in AVC with TrueHD 5.1 and the longest cuts. The box set is better than the US/UK releases or the German releases)

RV
Spider-Man Trilogy
Stomp The Yard
Surf's Up
The Fountain
The Game Plan
Troy
Vantage Point
World Trade Center

Thank you

Lucky Number Slevin - The UK (EiV) is better than the US release for PQ.

Silent Hill - If the German release is out get that assuming it's the same as the HD DVD. It was slightly better than the US BD. I've read the UK BD is worse than both.

The Prestige - Either US or Japanese. German was slightly inferior PQ than US.

Resident Evil Trilogy - Get the Japanese box set! All AVC encodes and TrueHD audio.

The Departed UK (EiV) looks exactly like the US (Warner). I have them both.

I have gathered a little info myself:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1069912

Check region info if you buy any of those US releases! That is mainly a US site I posted that info on, so I haven't bothered to list any of those US releases to be region locked or region free.

Silent Hill (UK and Germany Release have the same AQ (DTS-HR HR). UK is reported to have the worst PQ (basically GER > US > UK). The US release has a PCM 5.1 which is better than the UK/GER which has DTS-HD HR 5.1. There is an Italian release with TrueHD 5.1 and possibly an AVC encode (unknown - I have no way to check and am basing it off the previous releases of the distributor). I personally have the Italian and German and like the Italian PQ a bit better. There is also a Japanese release on a BD-50 but has equal PQ and SQ to the US version [which is on a BD-25]. Japanese version comes in a huge boxset with 3 DVDs (DVD version of the movie, 2 disks of extras, BD version of the movie). All versions are Region Free except the Italian which is Region B Locked)

Stealth (Same Everywhere)
The Condemned (Same Everywhere)
The Death And Life Of Bobby Z (Same Everywhere)
The Departed (Warner US VC-1, PCM 5.1 vs EiV VC-1, DTS-HD MA 5.1)

The Sentinel (Same Everywhere)
TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Same Everywhere)
Transformers: The Movie (1986) (Only available in the UK).
Transformers: Special Edition (Same Everywhere).
Ultraviolet (Sony Japan Director's Cut vs Sony US/UK Theatrical Cut -- same PQ/AQ).
V For Vendetta (Same Everywhere)

The Game Plan (Same Everywhere)
Troy (Same Everywhere)
Vantage Point (Same Everywhere)
World Trade Center (Same Everywhere)

The major differences with ones that are the same probably come down to languages and subtitles. If you need particular subtitles or language tracks, you need to look at those particular versions themselves. Hope this helps.

AnimeOnBlu - Do you have any idea how the PQ compares between the German and US Jumper? I wasn't aware the German release was VC-1.

According to that it is VC-1. Also has a bunch of reviews (in German). I've never seen an outright comparison between the 2 however so I don't know which is better.
