A new film starring John C. Reilly, Jona Hill and Marrisa Tomei...It premeired at the Sundance film festival last week, It was met with good reception, I know I am looking forward to seeing it

Yeah and if your going to start a thread on a movie, atleast make it a decent first post, include a synopsis, poster......... something to actually discuss, not just 'hey a film came out called Cryus' *submit*...

Saw the trailer, unimpressed. It seems like if you make an indie, you need Marisa Tomei in to have some sort plot.

Take your own advice. Your one of the most pretentious threadcrappers on this site. Any mention of Avatar and you come running. You find out someone actually *gasp* likes the film and you question there opinions on other films by referencing it. You even have gone as far as going after avatars of posters. Lighten up. Wow.

Besides I said the film looks pretty good. I even had to do a search for it myself seeing as you didn't link to a story or even a trailer.

This combination of single parent mom with adult son having conflict with new man who might be new daddy has been done to death. Mama's Boy and Step Brothers to name some of the films of the same topic.

Well, yes and no. There are only so many basic plots a film can have. This film looks MUCH different than both of those films, there really is no comparison beyond the basic plot and the fact that John C. Reilley is in it.

Not too sure what your comment regarding Marisa Tomei is about either.

Does emphasize however, that NOBODY knows what this movie is about from just an inscrutable title, even if they have to coldly bluff forum posts about it just to keep up the conversation.
