United Kingdom Prom Night (remake)

I saw this at the cinema and was less than impressed. Now the US BD is is an unrated edition and potentially could tip the scale to dumb but fun slasher rather than the child friendly bore that I saw at the cinema. Don't get me wrong I'm not expecting a miracle I realise the unrated edition is only a minute extra but that's a fair difference when it comes horror. With that said I sure as heck don't want to pay any more than I have to for it. Is the UK BD the exact same as the US Unrated edition?

Here's the thing, according to the BBFC website the run time on video is 85m 29s would that be accounted for due to the difference in PAL and NTSC?

could be if they submitted the dvd instead of the bluray to be rated.

I have the disk at home wont be able to check it till the week end.
if you not in a rush I can just check the run time off the disk then

Thanks for helping. I'll keep looking into it but yeah if I can't find out by the weekend it would be very much appreciated.

The UK DVD is the unrated cut, so it would be odd for the BD not to be. I can't say for certain, though.
