Default Earthquake in Southern California

I just felt an earthquake! The news just reported that it was about a 6.9 magnitude off Baja California. It felt like a long wave. I'm scared.

Hope no one there gets hurt. The majority of my cousins, uncles and aunts live in Southern California. My aunt said that she felt the shock as well in her Facebook.

It was small here compared to what they got in Mexico. Everyone here is fine

It felt like it lasted for 45 seconds. I hate earthquakes. I guess it's part of life when you live in SoCal.

Just got an update and the magnitude has been upgraded to a 7.2. I called my parents and they are OK. We should've videotaped the pool. It was swaying like crazy!

I was stopped at a drivethru. Never felt a quake in a car before, very strange. When I got home and looked at the maps, it didn't show any nearby earthquakes. I couldn't believe that it was from 220 miles away. Incredible!

With all these quakes lately. I sure hope this ain't a sign of an active Hurricane Season in the Atlantic coast..

......I'd take that as a sign to get as far away from the San Andreas fault as possible.

It rolled longer than any I have felt in years.

Did you watch 2012?? Have you ever looked at the Mayan calender?? This could be just the beginning.

I only felt it when someone pointed it out to me. Our blinds were swaying back and forth.

6.9, that's 100x stronger than the one in '94. Of course, this one originated in Baja. I hope everyone down there is okay.

It was felt like you were walking drunk over here in Los Angeles.
