Boardwalk Empire - Sainsbury's Price Blitz - Blu-ray Forum

Apologies if this has been posted before, but a cursory search turned up nothing...

Apparently season one of BE is £10 at select Sainsbury's (unfortunately not one near me), along with other bargains.

I've picked up Beauty and the Beast (Diamond Edt. for 5£), Tron Legacy (double play) for 4, along with Ides of March (5£). However, I'd happily trade one or more of the above for a BE season one box set if anyone was lucky enough to get more than one.

Anybody found any other bargains?

My store had bollocks all. I'll give the another ring tomorrow. Just DVD's at the moment, there were supposed to be some three quid BD's on offer as well. The Family Guy box sets are a fiver as well (DVD's).

This "promotion" is a joke. My store (which is a fairly large one) had NOT ONE blu-ray in the Blitz thing. "Oh we don't sell many blu-rays" they said. Well it's not bloody surprising if you don't stock any is it!

I think he was just using BWE as an example of a good bargain, but the thread was for the blitz or lack thereof....

Nice to know about how to search that way though

Sainsburys chose the correct word for their sale, their Blitz is a bloody awful experience....

The guy on the entertainment section my Dad went to said there was no chance of having Prison Break the complete set because it was an old release. Shame as he was standing next to a load of old Family Guy DVD's about the same age....
