Will Farrell = HD DVD... ;-P - Blu-ray Forum

OK, I know this doesn't make any sense, but are you feeling resentment towards Will Farrell for posing with Napoleon Dynamite on "Blades of Glory?" The Blu-Ray Paramount release that was supposed to come out on both formats this Tuesday?

Sure, I was only going to RENT the disc from Netflix, but man alive! My subconscience has put the face of HD-DVD on Will Farrell.

I love Farrell. The first Blu-Ray movie I owned is Taladega Nights. I am going to miss his movies but oh well, we can always learn how to burn them to a Blu-Ray disc.

Will Farrell and Jon Heder are OBLIGATED to promote the release of BoG on any format because they are the STARS of the movie. Boycotting them would just be silly.

Blades of Glory is a day and date release for HD DVD only, the sales of which will be massacred by the sales of several of Fox's catalogue titles like Independence Day.

Well, if Will Ferrell is the new face of HD DVD, then Kate Beckinsale is the face of Blu-Ray (Pearl Harbor, Vacancy, both Underworlds).

Another reason why our side is better!

Ha ha! Yeah, this thread is pretty lame. By the way, I have no plans to Boycott Will Farrell. I enjoy his work. I was simply wondering if anybody else made the correlation between the lame Paramount post and Will's "Blades of Glory" face. Nothing more.
