I've seen and enjoyed all of them (the first two to a much lesser degree than the others), but Azkaban is the only one I'd consider great.

I like them all, they are each a continuation of the one before. Not sure I can choose one out of the bunch but to still vote I chose the first one.

By the way, Harry Potter is a name so it goes with a capital H and a P ...

I have not yet seen a single one of them. I was thinking of waiting now until they all come out and then watch them all in one go. The only thing that has been putting me off is that I am not a fan of films where kids seem to be the main characters.

That's a very curious thing to say and a very curious reason not to watch the HP movies. But if that's how you feel then okay. Hope you enjoy them if/when you see them

I hated the first two films when I saw them originally. Then, after seeing Prisoner Of Azkaban, it made me change my mind about the series.

I never a huge Harry Potter fan (I only read two of the books) but I find the movies to be well made and pretty entertaining. I don't care for the early ones that much but I like that they are going darker with the films as they go on plus they're getting better too.

My order:

1. Harry Potter: OFTP (7.5 / 10)
2. Harry Potter: Prisoner (7.0 / 10)
3. Harry Potter: Goblet (7.0 / 10)
4. Harry Potter: Chamber (6.5 / 10)
5. Harry Potter: Philosopher (6.0 / 10)

I got into the series from the first film.
I never saw the second film. Though I saw bits of it on TV and it looked like rubbish.
I loved the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Goblet was entertaining, but not as good as Azkaban.
Order was forgettable imo.
Will probably watch the new one though.

I'm partial to the first movie (which I'll call Sorcerer's Stone, 'cuz I'm a Yank). It really captured the majesty of the book, it felt very real, and the original Hedwig's Theme is hauntingly beautiful. All-in-all, I think Chris Columbus did a great job.

Did NOT like the third film. Alfonse Cuaron bastardized the film series and the script was ridiculously lacking. Probably the worst of the five so far. I lost a lot of respect for Cuaron after Azkaban, and pretty much all respect for him once he starting making the rounds in the HP fan community trying to drum up support for another crack at the HP golden goose. I'm glad he failed.

Loved the fifth movie.

1.) Sorcerer's Stone
2.) Order of the Phoenix
3.) Goblet of Fire
4.) Chamber of Secrets
5.) Prisoner of Azkaban
