Last Thursday I was in Costco, and to my surprise they had a whole bunch of Sony Blu-ray players for only $39.99. This was the Sony Blu-ray players that use to sale for $99.99, this was not the bottom of the line, but the model below the true 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players. For only $39.99 this Sony Blu-ray player offered simulated 4K Ultra HD by using upscaling technology, plus it supported Blu-ray 3D, and both wired and wireless Internet.
For someone that does not need true 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray playback for around $150, they should go to Costco and pick up some 4K upscaling Sony Blu-ray players for only $39.99. Perfect for home, churches, and businesses that have standard old 1080P displays. The only reason I did not purchase a few Sony’s for $39.99 each, is because I prefer the true 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players that play native 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. $39.99 is the cheapest price I have every seen a Sony Blu-ray player. Sure some people might complain and buy a DVD player instead for $20 or $30, but for $39.99 not too many consumers are going to complain about the price. Plus there is a lot of streaming apps in the Sony Blu-ray player, which is ideal for people that have projectors and older displays without built in streaming. |
