from
http://www.tvguide.com/News/Exclusiv...i&profileid=05 The trilogy is now complete. Family Guy's popular series of Star Wars parodies — the Empire Strikes Back installment was the No. 3 best-selling Blu-ray release of 2009 — goes for the intergalactic trifecta with a spoof of Return of The Jedi. As you can tell by TV Guide Magazine's exclusive first look at the poster art, the still untitled project retains its faithful tone, but you can of course count on a merciless fanboy skewing of the Ewok-centered film. Seth MacFarlane and company are back along with several guest voices including semi-regulars Adam West and Carrie Fisher; Rush Limbaugh (as the Sarlaac pit monster); and Patrick Stewart and Michael Dorn in a Star Trek: The Next Generation riff. The movie goes on sale December 21 on DVD and Blu-ray. Fans will get a 10-minute taste of the Jedi parody on July 24 at a sure-to-be well attended panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. MacFarlane, Alex Borstein and Seth Green will be on hand that day for wisecracks as well. ************ Let's hope Fox will put Blue Harvest on Blu. Now the original title for the Jedi spoof was supposed to be Family Guy presents Episode VI: The Great Muppet Caper, but Jim Henson productions would not allow the use of the muppet title. Currently it is called Family Guy presents We Have a Bad Feeling About This. |

Seth has the good sense to know many people revile the first three (and I'm willing to bet he does too), and that the Star Wars Geeks that make up his staff would have little interest in working on such a project.
The only reason to do it is to totally rip it to shreds... sorry, I-III fans. The prequels are just not marketable any other way... Doc |

That would be a good one to do too though I don't know if it really has enough characters to encompass most of the main characters of the show. Of course neither does Indiana Jones either.

They kinda already diid a Back To The Future themed episode though.
The one where Peter gets a favor from Death, and goes back and screws up his marriage to Lois. So when he returns, Lois is married to Quagmire and such. Plus it explained the whole "Giant Chicken" rivarly. Don't recall what the name of the episode was. But I'm sure that others remember the one I'm talking about. |
