Problems getting my PS3 online

I'm trying to run my PS3 to a wired connection. I've changed it to wired from wireless (what I used to be). Now my PS3 won't optain an IP address. When I try the internet conection settings. On easy it just times out. When I try custom get to a screen that looks like this:

IP Address 0. 0. 0. 0.
Subnet mask 255 255 255 0.
Default Router 0. 0. 0. 0.
Primary DNS 0. 0. 0. 0.
Secondary DNS 0. 0. 0. 0.

All the zeros I can change around to different numbers, but I have no clue what to change them to or where to get the info to change them too. Any help would be greatful. Thanks
