I just going to put this out here, about the PSN!
I turned my PS3 on today and I saw that "Batman: Under the Red Hood" was available for purchase. I first thought that its was not to be released until Tuesday the 27th. I tried to purchase it and they told me I had an invalid credit and it did not match up with my account. I went in verified all my information and double checked to make sure everything was correct. Still a no go! This is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I can never download anything on the PS3 and I have to use my XBOX 360. The real issue is why is Sony always playing around with people. It first started with them taking away my Operating System on my PS3 and now this. I tired to give them my money and they don't want it. Now this is the REAL Bait and Switch. I want to know if anyone else had this problem, because this is BS. You buy something and you can never use it the way it was intended to be used. ![]() Last edited by Blu Titan; 07-26-2010 at 12:01 PM. |

Never happened to me. Sometimes I use a credit card, but I prefer to buy PSN cards at Best Buy to earn Reward Zone certificates. Last edited by Stephie_is_a_dork; 07-26-2010 at 05:12 AM. |

I agree with Stephi that this thread title is misleading and all I got was somebody whining about nothing I care about

Next time you wish to rant about Sony because your credit card doesn't work or because they removed a feature virtually nobody used to begin with, please name your thread appropriately so. I came in here expecting to read news about a game adaptations of Batman: under the red hood.
![]() As for your credit card problem, it could be a number of issues: type of card, expiration date, etc. Also make sure your locality conforms with the locality on your credit card statements. You can't use a Visa card billed to an address in the UK on the US store for example. The data on your credit card statement must match the data in your profile exactly. Otherwise, you can still use PSN cards. Visa works perfectly fine for me for the store of my locality and for other localities, I use PSN cards. Might be worth to check that out. Look up the definition of bait and switch before you use it.
You also probably have something wrong in the address portion of your billing information. such as an apt number or something along those lines. Its very picky about how information is put in for it to work properly. |

This is a real issue. PSN accepted my credit card for more than 3 years, then one day stopped. The information didn't change. My credit card company says that Sony isn't even trying to charge to it.
Sony says that it's not their problem, it's the CC company's problem. I too have started using PSN cards...but Sony is losing a LOT of impulse purchases from me, because going to the store to get a PSN card is something I have to be truly motivated to do.
