Default Where is Buena Vista????

Remember the Titans Today...The Invisible October....Where's the announcement for Armageddon, The Rock, Con Air, Kill Bill? Where's Dimension with SIN CITY? They previewed it on The Guardian back in Q1. Guns need to start blazing in all studios to push some strong titles out. Not just WB and FOX. Even Columbia pictures is light on releases for fall and Q4.

i think it is a strategic plan they need to follow. all the strong releases comes in at different dates. it wouldn't be a good idea all those big name titles to come out at once. you know what i mean.

oh by the way, i know its off topic, but how is the gubernor ahnold treating kalifornia. I am not a republican, but i value his goals.

Yeah that's true, I get sick of seeing Universal HDDVD announcements over at Highdefdigest and TheManRoom. WB almost announces one new release a day it seems, Yesterday Oceans 11,12,13, now License to wed today.

i think in 2008 it will be a lot different probably the opposite where we will see like pages and pages of new release blu-ray titles (ok maybe an exaggeration but i think you get the point im trying to make) so yeah this year wont be a big year except for just a few films like spidey, pirates, etc. but in 2008 they will release the more good, familar movies we all know and love

About all the releases, I like the fact it seems like all Blu-Ray Supporting Studios and even WB now is taking a little more time giving great presentations on Blu Ray. UNLIKE Universal who has just killed my love of there movies with there support for HDDUD and they just don't care about the consumer. They were like that with DVD though too, Constant reissues with other special features of the same dvd that they could've released with it on there in the first place. Nothin special with any of there HDDud releases. It's just another way for them to drain the consumers pockets untill they start crapping them out on Blu Ray. At least the ones they have that I actually care about Jaws, Jurrassic parks etc. will never see that format.

i know this is a random question but even though steven spielberg said that his movies from paramount will go to blu-ray that he directed so does that mean his movies from universal such as an american tale will go to blu-ray also? im guessing it would but i think he would have to talk to universal

Some of what I have read about Universal and Steven Spielberg is that he was really pissed off back when they said they would release his films in HDDVD. That was the biggest thing that push him into the Blu. Anything Amblin or otherwise that he has had major involvement in at Universal I heard will not be released on Hddvd.....right now that is. I wish the same was for Transformers with him producing it but we already know that is done and over with.

I think, not sure but I think even Robert Zemeckis has been on hold out with universal with the Back to the Future collection. Ron Howard really hasn't seemed to take a stance really yet either. More Directors need to influence this Format war. Lucas could end it Tommorow and brush his shoulders off by just saying Star Wars on Blu in 08. Never happen wishfull thinking...He'll wait till 09 or 10 just because he is who he is and can.

yeah well its because of that stupid, flaky micheal bay he gets all pissed off about paramount's deal and then goes ahead with it like as if he over-reacted i swear some of these people are so stupid if its about money then go with both formats for transformers they would make a hell lot more then 150 million if they did that plus look how many copies dreamworks sold of dream girls and some of their other great movies
