With the effective day of the announcement, Paramount cut production on all blu-ray titles. So they will only be available as long as retailers still have them in the pipeline.

I would think they didn't make as many copies of their later releases but on the other hand they didn't want anyone to know about their secret until the news was out. You should be fine but I can't say for sure. Sorry.

Yes, the titles went out of print the day of the announcement. Retailers will only have them as long as their stock lasts. Get them while you can!

My guess is that a lot of the newer releases will go faster because they are fresh in peoples minds and people have already had plenty of opportunity to purchase the older titles, so there should (at least in theory) be more of those left as people may have already gotten their copy. I, for one, am trying to be systemmatic about which Para BD I buy based on this and what I want/can afford at that time.

My orders of Coming to America and The Untouchables are supposed to ship in 8-11 days from Amazon and after watching Shooter this weekend I hope it is still in stock.
The only 3 I want from Paramount!

I bought the 6 remaining Paramount Titles I wanted the other day - Paramount can now go fly a kite in my opinion.

See you again in 18 months - maybe.
