I LOVE THESE I hope we get it in the US or I might have to import.... If I am lucky enough to make a trip to Canada (only been once) I'll pick it up then.

These shorts really need there own Blu-Ray?

These should be an extra on the release of Cars 2

Well the theatrical shorts had their own Blu-ray, so why not Cars Toons?

I hope here in the UK this gets released, although I have doubts it won't.

Well they are very entertaining and they may include extended versions of the shorts and it could have extras pertaining to Cars 2,

Plus they were created in sparkling HD which DVDs cannot do justice, so tell me why NOT release on Blu?

What cartoon series? The shorts are made with new characters and characters from the movie (Cars) and in the same look and style, by Pixar.

Well it just seems to be a waste dedicating a whole Blu-Ray to less then 20 minutes of animation. I felt the same way about how Warner chose to release How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I thought these were cute and funny and it seems to me that these should be an extra on either Cars 2 or a 3D re-release of the original Cars, or some other Pixar movie. Releasing them on there own just doesn't seem worth it unless this disc sells for well under $10.
