Default How are sales calculated??

I am in the military and I have purchased most of my blu movies from the exchange on my base. I was wondering if those purchases are figured in when the studios look at overall weekly sales. BTW, I just picked up Ice Age 2 last night. That's what got me thinking.

No

No online sales but Amazon

Pretty much all retail chains but WalMart, who refuses to report

It's a shame....they had ALL of their HDTV's hooked up to Blu-ray players and there were no HDDVD's in sight!!!!

I was wondering the same thing about sales. Speaking of Walmart look at the picture they have for the Blu Ray Letters from Iwo Jima. It has a blu ray case, but it says: "HD DVD and DVD combo format". There is no way that it's an accident.

Most likely thay did not have a picture of the blu-ray so they super imposed the hd-dvd cover art on a blu-ray case.

Seriously, they source from about 2 dozen major retailers who probably do 50-60% of the home video buisness out there, it's an accurate picture of the whole.
