Just got my a2 300 yesterday and have been playing around with the settings. I put my volume at about half way and my LPF all the way up. I put my phase at 0. After doing this I calibrated with audyssey. What concerns me is this low hum that is constantly coming from the sub. Has anyone else heard this? As i turn down the LPF and volume it goes away. Any suggestions?

Many people have had success using a 3-prong into 2-prong adapter. These can be picked up for a few bucks at your local Home Depot. There's a sticky out there somewhere that talks about this problem, but I can't seem to locate it. I'll revise my post if I can find it. You could also PM Big Daddy, as he may be able to provide you with more help. In the meantime, I would try the 3-into-2 adapter and see if that solves your problem. ![]() Edit: Still can't find the sticky, but read through THIS page on the eD sub owner's thread, where a couple of members were talking about the ground loop problem. Edit 2: Found the sticky. Read through it here: https://forum.blu-ray.com/home-theat...isolators.html Last edited by progers13; 08-07-2010 at 05:09 PM. |

Thanks for the sticky. Its very helpful. I swear that guy has a sticky for everything hometheater! but i still cant reduce the hum. There is no cable box connected to my reciever nor is there a pc connected. I also dont have the cables anywhere close to each other. I dont know what to do. Im beginning to think it may have somthing to do with the reciever im using.

if anyone was curious as to what the popping was i found out after speaking with someone in the eD tech department. It was the dust cap flapping. It was caused by a loose spot in the cone of the speaker. I dont know how that happened.
